2014-02-15 Travel: Palenque to Tikal

The trip to Tikal and back was a booked package including a stop in Yaxchilán. We were picked up very early in our hotel in Palenque and driven to Frontera Corozal, took the boat to Yaxchilan, raced through the ruins because we only had 2 hours, took the boat to Bethel, waitet 4 hours for the driver (grrr), drove to Flores, were late for our meeting with Dieter Richter from Café Yaxcha and then had to drive another hour through the darkness to Tikal where we managed to get to our room just beforte the lights were turned off for the night.
