Tambja morosa

On almost every dive in the waters of the Small Sunda Islands you can see these beautiful nudibranchs called Tambja morosa. This one was 5 cm long and decoratively seated on a golden tunicate in 7 meters depth at Pulau Pisan in Horseshoe Bay.

Feeding Sea Apple

Like all other sea cucumbers, Sea Apples (Pseudocolochirus violaceus) have several branched tentacles used to fish for plankton, detrius and small organic particles. Slowly one tentacle after the other is passed into their mouth where the attached food is wiped off. Pulau Pisan right side (Rinca, Indonesia)
