After a lunch break in our appartment and a short nap we packed our photo gear and met with the rest of our group for our afternoon session in an abandoned quarry and a small canyon next to it.
Both locations are really interesting and just a short drive away from the Guatiza gas station.
We drew straws to decide which group would start in which location and with with witch model and we were the first group to go and shoot in the quary with Kaycee.
The quary was amazing with bright orange and red volcanic stone walls but also not really safe because we could see that some stone blocks hat broken off the upper edge and fallen down and more of them were hanging above us. The stone also was very rough and it was easy to scratch yourself when leaning on it.
In my opinion the blue colour of the fabric draped around her looks so stunning because it is the complementary colour to the orange red of the quarry
On the other side of the quary we found the remains of a machine that fit perfectly to Rassamees Mad Max like outfit. To be honest, i had hoped to be able to shoot some more costumes like the one she wore today ;-)
We left the quary to meet with Sanchez, our third model on this afternoon. Instead of climbing down into a small canyon, we decided to stay above and take some pictures of her in the desert like area with a thunderstorm coming up behind her.
Our final set of the afternoon was Fräulein Frisco. The thunderstorm had moved in a different direction and although we could hear an occational thunder we decided it was safe enough to take some pictures of her down in the canyon, where niches in the stone walls allowed us to set her up like a very sexy madonna.
What a great day with hundreds of pictures of stunning locations and the best models of the whole world who really gave much more than anybody could expect.
Fell asleep while sorting pictures around midnight :-D

Today's morning session took place at and around the ruins of a once surely beautiful villa in the middle of a cactus plantation between the village of Mala and the sea. On the island of Lanzarote and espacially close to Mala there still are a few places…
